Hi all, new to these forums. I have been collecting and using survival and tactical knives for over 20 years. Most of what I have is from the US and a few custom knives from local makers. Hope to be able to give as much as I might get.

Started in 1988 with a Gerber BMF. Now have about 15 BMF's of various configuration and finishes plus a few prototypes. Though not my favourite 'survival', knife they are a good looking knife IMHO. Too many knives to have favourites. Most of my knives are users and get a bit of a workout. One getting more use than others at the moment would be a customised Becker BK2 in a Hedgehog sheath.

I just remembered - I have an old BMF somewhere in the bottom of my safe, weird brown handle/sheath variant. I'd never been able to find any info on it, you're probably the expert on these! Gerber made great knives in their day, and many collectors started there (including "yours truely").Australian Knife Magazine
