I just remembered - I have an old BMF somewhere in the bottom of my safe, weird brown handle/sheath variant. I'd never been able to find any info on it, you're probably the expert on these! Gerber made great knives in their day, and many collectors started there (including "yours truely").

Welcome to the forum, mate. Who are your favourite makes/makers?
    KK[/QUOTE]

Started in 1988 with a Gerber BMF. Now have about 15 BMF's of various configuration and finishes plus a few prototypes. Though not my favourite 'survival', knife they are a good looking knife IMHO. Too many knives to have favourites. Most of my knives are users and get a bit of a workout. One getting more use than others at the moment would be a customised Becker BK2 in a Hedgehog sheath.

Not that many, I think it's 5 or 10 before you can attach. You can always open a free Photobucket account, upload there, link here...
