Hey guys my names Chris, I've been fascinated with knives for years and decided to start a collection, I started last month and already have twenty, mostly very cheap eBay blades. I know barely anything about quality etc but would love some feedback on what to look for when I decide to buy more expensive ones.

I have purchased a few bowies and military style blades, but know I'm keen on hunting wood handled knives with roughly 120 mm blades, I have a Winchester and browning in that style but they are cheapies , and thanks for the welcome!

Anywhere between 15 and 200 right now, and another quick question, should I make my own display case? I am a tradesman so easily done , or where can u buy them?

Hey Gen3weapon, welcome to ABF mate. Best way to start learning is to read through some of the various threads here, start having a think about what you want, then ask any questions from there. There's a great bunch of people here with heaps of knowledge who will be happy to help. Cheers mate

If you think you can make something thats nice i reckon go for it A member on here called Aussie Bosun Makes his own cases and they look as good if not better then the ones you can buy online
