    first time poster

    Hello to all.My interest is in blacksmithing but who knows it could end up being knives. I am a boilermaker by trade but have grown to want to try forging. At this stage I have purchased an anvil ,post vice and I am half way through building my coke/coal forge.
    hopefully as things progress I will be able to call on the collective knowledge on this forum to help me deal with the unknown.
    Anyway back to reading the forum and thanks in advance.
