  • G'Day All

Hi All, I'm a new member from Sydney and blade and knife collecting enthusiast. Long time forum reader and thought I'd better register!

Like a lot of people I started collecting Gil Hibben and Kit Rae fantasy knives from united cutlery. Looking at knives and displaying them is OK but soon I needed more useful / useable knives and have a few field knives such as KA-Bar's and Cold Steel.

I'm married to an ex-chef and am encouraged to add Japanese Chefs knives to the collection, as well as Custom made knives when the opportunity arises.

    Favourite knives of mine include:
    KA-BAR - D2 Extreme Fighter,
Bob Lum - Encounters D2 Folder,
Takeshi Saji - Hitachi Shirogami (White steel) Layered Damascus Hunting Knife
John Hounslow-Robinson - 2 Drop Point Damascus Steel Commissioned knives, one with an antler handle the other with Silver Wattle.

    Cheers All

    Andrew
