  • Knock, knock :)

Hello all...Mick from Perth WA...work in aviation.
Joined ABF about a week ago after becoming interested in folders I'd seen on EDC forums (Hinderers, Sebenzas, Stryders...you know, the usual suspects )
Within a couple of days KnifeNut had very kindly pointed me in the direction of Urban Conquest and minutes later I purchased a ZT 0550, which I now eagerly await.....greatly encouraged by posts in Exchange Forums and hopefully I can cross a few folders off my wish list in the future...cheers

G'day Mick. Good choice on the 550. Some say it's too big. I disagree - I think it's a great knife and it's certainly one of my fav folders.

Don't be afraid to get it dirty.

        Welcome!
The ZT range of knives (to me) are some of the best production folders out there.
You scored well. A few come up for sale from time to time on the forum. Be quick to pull the pin, thet sell pretty quickly. If you can get an 0560, you wont be disappointed! The price may seem excessive at first, but you soon get over it.
I just count myself lucky, that I have had the good fortune to purchase a few.
Once you get bitten, its hard to resist more additions to your collection.
        Enjoy!
        Regards solomon

                Hey Mick,
Welcome to the forum and thanks for clarifying!
We're all a little Knife Mad, and some of us are even Knife Knut(s), it's all a bit confusing! LOL!

Thank you all for your kind welcome....already feel right at home
Yes love the ZTs....in fact it was a custom Kirby Lambert ZT (can't remember which model) with CF and trit scales, which sparked my interest in Folders......an interest that has grown into a full blown obsession, with a definite fondness for Titanium framelocks...and now my grail piece is either an XM-18 or XM-24 .....just pray my PP is healthy enough for when one pops up.

                  Cheers
