Hi, I am Robert Szalkai, I live in Hungary, down in the country. I like and use knives (and cutting tools) since my childhood. After the highschool I started to working in the steel industry, where I meet my first teachers and where I made my first knives.
Later I started to learn blacksmithing from local craftsmens, and I have have learned to making damascus steel. In between together with a friend we have made our own workshop and machines.
Right now I started making liner locking knives.
