I've been getting interested in kitchen knives recently and have decided to try my hand at making some knives.

I got pointed to this forum when I started doing some research.

I've picked up a lot of good information.

I was wondering is anyone forging knives in North Queensland that I could come watch and pick up some pointers from?

    Pleased to meet everyone

This is the place. There are other Knife Making forums, but often the advise that you get over there isn't relivant to those of us who live down under. Where in Queensland are you?

he is an excellent blacksmith, though won't have much knowledge in knives, you can at least glean the basics of getting metal hot an hitting it.

Here is a tip - It will be hot work.

Don't know anyone in the guild in FNQ that forges.

The plural of knife is knives.
              One knife.
              Two knives.
              The plural possessive is knives'.
