Hi all, just wanted to say hello.
I've been reading for a while and decided to sign up and contribute.
I've been collecting and using knives for about 15 years now, I'm 27 years old and got my first knife from my father on my 8th birthday, a month before he passed away.
My family immigrated from Vietnam just before I was born, escaping from some nasty stuff which I am glad I never had to endure. The stories Mother and Grandfather tell me are horrible.
My collection is mostly blades from the Indonesian provinces, the kind that sell in online stores, but I do have some custom made knives for the kitchen. I love helping Mother making dinner and really enjoy cooking. Because of that I'm a bit of a fatso but we all have a vice don't we ha ha
I look forward to spending more time here and meeting some people at knife shows sometime in the future.
