  • Ripsnorter from Melbourne

Good to be here. Interest building in bushcrafting and related activities for a few years now. I also enjoy cooking and my wife will tell you I have a fetish for knives. Hopefully the good kind.

I've been honing, stropping and sharpening with waterstones for a minute now and enjoy a slow side-business for people who can't/won't do it themselves.

I have a small collection of blades that suit me just fine for now. Customised BK-2 and a Mora 2/0 for around the camp. Leatherman Wave and a SAK Hercules are on multi-tool duty and I love them both.

Hoping to get into leather sheath making and maybe even make a knife of my own one day. I'm sure you guys will have the knowledge I need and I'll share when I can.

    Cheers!

    Welcome!!

    G'day Ripsnorter

    Welcome to the forum.

How about going to the "Gallery" and posting some images of your knives in the "Your Collection" sub forum.

I am sure that you will find plenty of friendly, helpful people here to help you on your way with leather work and knife making.
