Hey, just thought I would check in, I made my first knife not too long ago, no planning, some basic heat brick gas forge work and an old peice of railway line for an anvil- then filed like a mad man to try and get it looking a bit more like a knife.
It was good fun, helped me realise how little I know, and how much easier it would be to plan Ahead instead of just going for it.
Will post some pictures of the finished product and a drawing of my next attempt. Glad to have a whole pile of people who can give some pointers, or at least have a laugh with me when it ends up going wrong.
