Hello, everyone. I found this forum a couple of months ago but figured it was about time I registered up and begin to participate. I'm from Queensland and have liked me some sharp and pointy things since I was a kid, but have only really made a hobby out of since the end of last year. I first found the place because of bladeforums but it's good to see a dedicated Aussie knife forum, so I look forward to joining in with the community here and discussing knives and whatnot.

I don't have any stats on location but I'm beginning to think at least half the population of QLD are registered here!

Hello, Warrick. I have fairly eclectic tastes, to be honest. I started off getting into production neck knives and "combat" style knives (military style utility knives with 5 - 7 inch blades). Recently, however, I've ventured into the world of customs (belt, bushcraft and EDC type knives). I also like folders but, as with pretty much everyone here it seems, I've had issues with permits and Customs. Anyway, I'll get some photos up soon.
