              Thanks for the welcomes guys!

I think I will be keeping an eye on the exchange from now on, Thanks Alicia

From what I have seen I would say you are right Nighthawk.

Chasing some helpful tips a tricks on forging blades and making them up in general Andrew
ABF does seem to have a good community of people willing to help the beginners out, so I'm glad I joined

It is a nice little town Hunter, but around this time of year it goes crazy with tourist's.
I'm still yet to find someone around the area that makes knives,
part of the reason I joined was to find some people with the same common interest

Yes, I know... mid-Winter too! I've spent a lot of time there... almost moved to Bright (well Wondilligong actually) about four years ago.

                        Welcome Nick.

I'm sure you will find everything you need to know about forging etc. Just do a search and you will be amazed at the info you can find. And if you still can't find it, start a new post and ask the question. I have found everyone here (yes I'm new too) to be very helpful and friendly, especially if you are willing to learn. Good luck

                        Cheers,
                        Ben
