  • G'day

Hey everyone, I'm new here and thought I'd say hello. Lately I've become a fan of Busse and Fallkniven knives in particular. I've collected knives on and off over about the last 20 years and so I'm here to learn more about them basically.

Oh, and I also like Khukuri knives... I just can't help it

    Welcome to the forum.

            Welcome

I've only recently purchased a Fallkniven Krut which has fast become one of my favourites, love the laminated Cobalt Steel and looking forward to seeing what abuse it can handle. Busse's are next on my list.

            Enjoy the forums

G'day app749... welcome to ABF! I served in the Army alongside the Gurkha in Malaya and their khukuri were certainly fascinating... as was the Gurkha use of them! I watched one Gurk stropping his on his bare arm one day and that knife was going backward and forward at a hundred miles an hour! I shudder to think how I would eat or dress myself if I ever tried that!

Trust a northern Tasmaniac to be involved with something called "Tamar!"

Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome! Even though I have some knives that cost a whole lot more my favourite is still my WWII Khukuri for Himalayan Imports. It's just so solid and well balanced and feels great in the hand

Not to mention it's chopping power!
