      Sounds good

I notice you're in Armadale.. Is there many makers in the Perth area? I wouldn't mind catching up with a few.. I always like to see how different people take various approaches to making things (knives in particular)

          Hi Matt

I noticed you're just around the corner Some of the knives in your gallery look pretty nice... Are there any others in close proximity to the Rockingham/Mandurah area do you know?

I'm just getting started in making knives after having a lifelong interest in them. I'm finding that shaping the metal isn't so much of a problem but im kinda stumped when it comes to the heat treat. I don't really have any equipment that is suitable for it at all. I'm trying to get together a very rudimentary setup with a length of rail track and smallish charcoal forge.

I really like the look of the indonesian style baldes atm and have just ordered a nice 14" machete which should be arriving soon. Very excited as I count it my first major purchase.

Look forward to catching up sometime

          Jay
