I tend to drink Tasmanian beer so that will have to do!

I'm the spirit of openness and to extend a welcoming hand to all newcomers I thought I'd say a bit about myself, which I don't tend to do on the internet, ever really.

My name is Andrew - I work in the energy industry for a large international corp, yes it's that exciting! But my real passions are my creative outlets - photography, writing, playing guitar, bushcraft and being out in the wilderness and away from the demands of the office.

I have been collecting knives for the last year but if you ask my girlfriend I'm just trying new *tools* for camping trips. So far I've been ensnared by Bark River; I'm a sucker for those exotic wood handles. Fallknivens, a couple of Colds Steels, a Chopweiler and a handful of Spydies make up the rest of the collection. So far most of my knives are fixed blades but I'm thinking of pursuing Gentlemans Folders so any recommendations are welcome.
