  • Hello from the UK

Congratulations on the new forum gents.

Word has already spread as far as the shores of Her Britannic Majesties Sceptred Isles of your enterprise, I hope I can contribute in some small way to a long and happy future here.

Assuming I can think of anything worth posting, it will probably be done while you are all asleep, so I will try to keep the noise down.

Right then, I'm off to play with my control panel and have a nosey.

    Catch you later.

Welcome to the forum. People are turning up from all over the place, nice to see.

Nice to have you over Zorro! The forum is going up in member numbers every day atm! I hope you find people here with a similar taste to whatever your collection interests entail. I know you guys had it a bit hard over there recently with blade lengths and all that.
      Cheers,
      A

        Thank you.

We like to have a good moan over here ( ) but things could be a lot worse. if we are out fishing or hiking for example, then carrying a fixed blade or a locking knife is generally OK, not likely to get you in trouble if you show the right attitude to the police.

It's young men in town centres and cities carrying blades that causes concern to the general public, and policing reflects that concern, carrying anything other than a sub 3 in. slip blade is not tolerated.

That's the law, it's there to protect the majority, and most folk are happy to comply, me included.

Well put zorro, I agree if we conduct ourselves responsibly as knife owners / users we should have nothing to fear from the law!

                    Welcome Mate!!

                    Good to see you here.

I was going to tell you that Knife-Lover was hoping to get a Military Knife sub forum up, but I see you have already found the thread.

                    You input will be valuable
