  • Hi everyone.....

My name is Jeff Peck. I'm a Fulltime Knifemaker from Newcastle.

Knifemaking started as a hobby, but is now my fulltime occupation.

I spend most of my time in my workshop making knives!

    But I don't mind, I really enjoy it, AND I don't have a boss!

I've never been involved in a forum before, so I hope to share and learn!

    Thanks for having me.

    Jeff

    Welcome to the forum.

How are you going Jeff? A few Guild members are here. There is a AKG section for members, I will get Gaj to put you in the list of AKG members so you can see/use it.

Jeff now has his own sub forum here so he'll probably be showing us some of his work. Drop in and say G'day. He also has access to the AKG private forum so maybe we'll see him in there too.

                G'day Jeff,

                Welcome to the forum.

Where abouts in Newcastle are you?

I am located in Thornton near Maitland - would be good to catch up with another local knife lover

                Cheers,

How long have I been making knives?

                            Hi Doug,
About 38 years ago for my own use
Then in 2004 I started making knives full time.

It seems like I'm always in my workshop, except when I'm feeding the birds that come into my garden, or tending to my vegie patch (mostly tomatoes and chillies)Here are a couple of pics of my knives. You can see more on my website www.jrpeckknives.com.au
