    G'day all,

    Just found this forum poking around in another (IFI), Did my apprenticeship 27ish years ago making Surgical Instruments in Victoria & have had an interest for edged impliments ever since. Love blacksmithing and Knives in general. I've made 3 stock removal blades so far & in the process of setting up a Blacksmith shop to try my hand at the other end. Keen to learn from all you verteran knife makers to "Sharpen" my skills (Pun intended)

                Welcome to the Forum.

                Surgical Instruments, that must have been way back when we used to have a manufacturing industry here in Aus.
