  • G'day form Brisbane

    G'day All,

Iain (aka Jawry) from Brisbane here. Thanks for having me.

Have worn a knife on my belt since about the age of 10 (an Old Timer Stockman given to me on my Birthday) - and its still there nearly 40 years later.

Have retained a love of all things outdoors (including edgeware) and have a modest but nice collection.

Am preparing to dabble in the art of knife making. Have collected a number of old files and am in the final throws of purchasing bits/buidling a forge. Have 5 ANZA knives (4 custom made) which is my inspiration for having a crack myself (as well as all the beautiful home made knives on sites like this)

My wife thinks i have an addiction and can't understand why little packages (with new bits for rifles/bows/motorbikes or knives) keep arriving in the mail Any of you blokes see a problem??

I hope this forum helps nurse my affliction!

    Welcome Iain

Sounds like you will fit in fine here.

Addiction. Whats an addiction? No one here is addicted.

Maybe a few with Compulsive Aquisition Syndrome.

Always room for one more knife in my collection!!

Welcome Iain, you'll definately fit in here.

      I don't think it's an addiction - it's a passion!
