  • WW1 knife

Hi Folks,I'm not really a knife collector, but have owned and lost many(mostly as a small boy).
I have joined the forum so i can ask about a knife that my Grandfather traded for two bottles of whiskey in 1925.
Its pretty deadly looking, the bloke who had it said he'd killed six Turks with it,my Grandmother wouldnt allow it in the house,so it stayed in the garage !
I will post some photos once i figure out how to.
    Anyway gday!

Hey, welcome to the forum. It's always a fun and rewarding excercise trying to work out the details of old military knives, but usually we get there. I think they're great, because they can tell a lot of stories, and sounds like this one has a few skeletons in the closet . Can't wait to see the pics!
