    Hi All
My name is Ray and I have just joined this forum.I have been making knives for about 20 years
I like to make all types of knives including folders.I am a member of the Australian Knife makers guild. We have just moved from a country property
and have built a new home in the city. I have not made a knife for around 4 months as I am trying to get my new knife shop up and running.
The new shop is much smaller than the previous one, but I will be able fit all my tools, in and only have to move my lathe and milling machine now.
Hope to get started in a couple of weeks and turn out a couple of new blades.
I will try to post some pics of my new shop soon.
    Cheers Ray (meno)

I look forward to picking up some tips and perhaps passing some on to other makers.

                          Welcome Ray!
Happy to help too, but like KK - not with moving a lathe. I moved one once. It involved a Hiab, water pipe, a slight slope, six blokes and a slab. I recovered from the hangover the next day. The back is still sore. Just sayin'.

Once again thanks for the welcome, both the lathe and mill are now in the new knife shop.I had the help of my son
and a mate as well as an engine crane.I will do a tidy up and post some photos of the new shop.
I have a couple of the shop during construction, very little room on our new home site. Will

                            Cheers Meno
