Hey Members, I found this forum when I was doing my usual geeky knife research ...everyone does right? Well maybe only people like us
I have found all members on here to be very helpful and friendly indeed. I got my first knife when I was about 4yo, a 1 inch key ring folder my mother brought me from a service station in 1976. Yes they did sell knifes from service stations back then- people were normal!
I'm always up for helping any civilised, law abiding knife enthusiast and forum member where I can. My interests in knifes include classic and modern; folders, fixed blades, bowies, military and WWII knifes and daggers. I have a particular interest in modern high quality survival knifes and modern high tech blades with natural handles like rare Australian and Scandinavian woods.
I'm always learning about knife brands and makes past and present, and I am partial to quality higher end knifes like Scandinavian blades including Fallkniven, American Bark River and selected Japanese offerings. I live in the Northern Territory, Outback Australia, respect the environment and enjoy a fun, layed back and friendly lifestyle, with good mates.
My personal motto is 'Knifes are for Purpose Not Pretension!'
