  • Gday from the Rocky Mountains

Hi, my name is sal. Some of you may know me from other forums.

My wife, Gail, and I began and operate a small knife company in Golden, Colorado, USA called Spyderco. We work with Zen as a distributor in Oz. They been exceptional for 20+ years.

We've been to Oz and loved our time spent there.

Hobbies are: knives, sailing, sports cars (used to be high performance mootorcycles, but getting a tad old for canyon racing), guns, hiking in the mountains.

We're in the process of redesigning some our our models to accomodate the new "safety" laws regarding knives in Australia. Was hoping I could get some input from the knife afi's that live there.

Welcome to the forum Sal. Hopefully we can help with the new designs. As you know our politicians are protecting us from such dangerously lethal weapons as the Spyderco Ladybug so maybe you can come up with something even those clowns can't object to.

Nice to have you here sal, I only discovered your company and knives a little too late after the new knife laws and makes it difficult now to obtain your models. But still wonderful to have you here.

The plural of knife is knives.
              One knife.
              Two knives.
              The plural possessive is knives'.

A very warm welcome from us all sal. It is an honour to have you on our Aussie blade forum. Import laws are our favourite topic here on ABF. I am sure you will have as much support and input as you can possibly get from us if ever you need it. Once again, welcome.

I was going to get a Spyderco once, but it had a bloody hole in the blade!!

                        Hope we can help you.

What's the best subforum for legal discussion and what's the best subforum for discussion about Spyderco knives?

                              Hi Sal, welcome.
There is a Law & Politics section. You could post in the general section. ABF is small enough that people will see it anywhere you post.
