  • G'day from Blaxland NSW

Hi. My name is Joe Carter a 72 year old fart who has far too many knifes as my family will attest, and/or accuse of being a "knife freak".
Purchased my first knife in 1960 for 12 pounds 10/- a sheath knife by W Jno Baker, Sheffield, still have it! somewhat worse for wear.(pik later)
at the same time passed up a F/S patten 2 which "Paddy Pallen" had for sale for 20 pounds (a weeks wages at that time) because it wasn,t functional as a G.P knife.
So now I have about 30 fixed blade knifes, about 30 kukris and about 180 folders of various makes & models.
Have a bush property down near the Abercrombie River, total scrub/forest steep/hilly country where we camp/shoot etc. Bit of a permanent camp is set up & storage in a bit of a shed.
we 4WD , & quad bike around, as knees are stuffed for hunting on foot.
Thanks for the initial welcome when I posted on the AA Stiletto thread.
Will post some photos when I become eligable.
    Regards, Joe

            Welcome!!

            Welcome Joe

What do you mean by "far too many knives"??

            That's a phrase I just don't understand!

Hell, there is always room for at least one more in my collection!!

Looking forward to seeing some images of your knives.

Your only problem is an imbalance: you need more fixed blades.

                          If you get this utility:

you can do all sorts of interesting things to your pic., including resizing them.

                          Best of all, it's free.
