Hello all,
My name is Brian and I am a part time maker in the UK.
I have been lucky to have irbailey as my friend and mentor for the last 4 years or so, and we are in parntnership in our knife making, but still work our own individual knifes and our own stamps.
I am due to retire from the military in a few months time and embark on knife making on a regualar basis.
I have been heavily influenced by the loveless style by both Ian and my friend Marcus Lin.
I have had a down tools period for about 6 months and I yearn to get back into making knives again, this time using my own Damascus and trying a few big knife designs.
me & Ian have a website running which we are trying to help up and coming makers in the UK and the world get their work shown outside of forums, get the motivation from the experienced makers to try different knives.
I will post Pics of my latest work in the relevant galleries and hope to get feedback from anyone who has good or bad critisism
I hope i am allowed to mention our website this early in joining?
i can be followed on twitter & facebook.
I am looking forward to looking at all your great countries makers work and to get the motivation to try new ideas.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my intro.
