Greetings, stumbled across this forum today and its focused on one of my passions, sharp pointy things
Dad gave me my first knife when I was around 12, which was a right of passage I guess, with that knife came expectations of being responsible. It was a working implement that I used frequently whilst working, cutting bail twine, skinning rabbits etc.
Left the farm but a few years back I became interested in Bushcraft, carving spoons (crappy ones), and billy holders etc. From there I became interested in good quality production blades (Fallkniven, Esse, Helle) and moved onto the world of Custom knives. Really amazed by the craftsmanship that goes into forging a blade, something I would like to learn myself down the track.
Anyway, interested in learning more and participating in discussions.
