I was glad to stumble upon this forum as I started out making my first forge with the intention of becoming a bladesmith. From a very young age I was enthralled with the craftsmanship that went into blade making, the art of making something from nothing. Weapons have been a focal point of most of my life, I've been shooting rifles since I could stand and handguns since I was allowed :P and I've never managed to walk by an outdoors shop without ending up with a lighter wallet and a knife or two.
I hope that in becoming a member here I'll be able to soak up some of the extensive knowledge I've already witnessed displayed here and perhaps make a blade or two worth putting up here. Whatever the case, glad to be on board and lookign forward to whatever the future may hold.
