Hi All,
Been a long time lurker on this forum so apologies for the lack of etiquette. Have been collecting knives for about the last 10 years. All started when I was in the USA and was reading a hiking magazine at a hostel and saw an advertisement for a benchmade (I think it was an opportunist - gentlemen style folder). Wasn't exactly my style but it got my attention and opened the door to the high-end brands which I new nothing about at that time. Being an outdoorsy guy, I enjoy using my knives when hiking, fishing etc.
Bit of a shame that the recent custom law changes has skyrocketed the price of folders in Australia. Have enjoyed the posts on this forum which address the profiteering now occurring on ebay in this regard. Crazy...
Also enjoying seeing the progress of Australian knife makers.
