  • Howdy.

I've only recently discovered these forums, despite being a fan of knives and a small-time collector for a couple of years now.

Primarily I've been trying to get my hands on some good quality (well priced) folding knives for every day use. Working in an office, I use knifes for cutting everything from boxes to bubblewrap and everything in between. Also, as I'm living with Onychophagia, I find a knife blade a handy replacement to a finger nail from time to time.

Due to the recent law changes in Qld regarding knives and knife carry, I'm starting to broaden my collection to include small fixed blades. The Boker Plus Gnome and (hopefully soon) ESEE Izula II are my first two additions.

Folding blades are: Spyderco Tenacious, Spyderco Cat (new addition), Spyderco Delica 4, SOG Flash I, Kershaw Skyline (my favorite EDC), Buck Bantam, IXL folder (unknown type).
I also have a couple of larger fixed blades: Gerber LMF II, and Marttiini Lynx Lumberjack carbon my friend got me while in Finland.

I guess traditional slipjoints with nail nicks aren't for you then welcome to the forums.

        Welcome....
Lynx's are traditional, the concept may grow.

I think I got off on the wrong foot with some of the members here. I can assure you all, I mean no harm.

I look forward to learning more from you more knowledgeable members.

Re: Pics. I can't seem to 'attach' images, and I've only got pictures of my folders on my personal facebook page (which I'm not going to link to just yet).
I'll see if I can sort out another image hosting site (unless there's a means to upload here?)

I will be keen to spend some time browsing through the exchange section. TBH, I'm not fussed with the Buck Bantam. I've only used it on maybe 2 occasions, and am tempted to move it on. But I'll post details in that section some time in the future.
